The Arab Trust-backed appeal to raise a total of £70,000 to ensure that the dream of a Jim McLean statue sited at Tannadice becomes a reality, has reached the fantastic sum of £35,549.85.

The club's greatest manager took the club to undreampt-of heights and, for many United supporters. making a contribution to the statue fund is simply their way of saying thanks to Jim McLean for providing them with so many happy memories.
