ArabTRUST Extraordinary General Meeting
ArabTRUST held it's Extraordinary General Meeting on Saturday 12th September 2015 at Club 83.
The members present unanimously elected Kevin Keenan, Martin Keenan, Colin Clement, Steve Gracie, Stuart Campbell, Andy McCarle and Colin McLaren to the Trust board.
Chairman Grant McKenzie said of the newly elected board members "I am absolutely delighted to welcome the previously co-opted board members as fully elected representatives on the ArabTRUST board.
"This now brings the number of board members up to 11 which I believe gives us not only excellent expertise and skills but also a very strong and vibrant cross section of views from within the membership.
"It is our hope that we can now take the Trust forward and work towards our aims and objectives and crucially to ensure that our members have their views represented in the most effective ways possible."
After the EGM was called to a close Chairman Grant McKenzie and Associate Director Colin Stewart gave the members present an update on recent Trust business and an update on recent and ongoing discussions with Dundee United Football Club.
Additionally, Chairman Grant McKenzie paid tribute to those former board members who have left the Trust board recently. Furthermore, Grant took the opportunity to sincerely thank the Payne family at Club 83 for their ongoing support and assistance that they give to Trust.
Grant also extended an invitation to all members who may wish to attend the next Trust board meeting on Thursday 24th September 2015 at Club 83. The meeting will begin at 7pm and members who wish to attend are asked to please contact secretary@arabtrust.co.uk.
Both Grant and Colin encouraged the members present to contact the Trust board with any questions or views they have by speaking to a board member or by emailing either yoursay@arabtrust.co.uk or chairman@arabtrust.co.uk.
