2019 ArabTRUST Annual General Meeting Change of Venue

Notice is hereby given that the ArabTRUST AGM to be held Tuesday 30th April 2019, 7.00pm will now be held in the Paul Hegarty Lounge at Tannadice Park Dundee 

The following board members have put their names forward for election, re-election or have decided to step down.

Ian Barr - election (currently co-opted)

Stuart Campbell, Kevin Keenan and David Baxter (re-election in rotation)

Colin Clement Mike Barile,and Colin Gillan (stepping down and not wishing to be re-elected)

Acceptance of Nomination and Declaration by Candidate

I, the candidate named above, hereby accept the nomination for election to the position indicated and declare as follows:

(i) I understand that, in accordance with the Society’s Rules, no person can be a member of the Society Board who:
a. is subject to a bankruptcy order or has in place a composition with their creditors;
b. is subject to a disqualification order made under the Company Directors Disqualification Act;
c. has been convicted on indictment for an offence (other than a spent conviction as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974);
d. is or may on the basis of medical evidence be suffering from mental disorder;
e. fails to abide by any rules for the conduct of elections made by the Society Board; or
f. is under the age of 18 years.

(ii) None of the above impediments presently applies to me.

(iii) In the event that any of the above impediments comes to apply to me, I will notify that event to the Secretary (whom failing the Chairman) of the Society in writing forthwith and will immediately demit office.

(iv) I indemnify the Society from any loss or damage howsoever arising from any claim made or action taken in respect of publication by the Society of any defamatory statement made or submitted by me or on my behalf in connection with this election.
