ArabTRUST 2017 Annual Christmas Raffle
We would like to introduce the ArabTRUST 2017 annual Christmas Raffle, but this year with a twist.
This year the ArabTRUST are donating all funds raised from the raffle directly to The Dundee United Community Trust (DUCT) the clubs official charity partner and The Dundee United Youth Development Board (DUYDB).
This is a great opportunity for all United fans to commit directly to two of the pillars of the football club, supporting the community where the club is based and helping to develop the next generation of home produced players, it doesn't matter if you can't get to Tannadice every week, by buying into the Christmas Raffle not only will you be giving yourself the chance to win some great prizes, you'll be contributing directly to DUCT's community activities and Youth Development.
One of DUCT's most successful projects is based just along the road from Tannadice in Maryfield, you can find all the details here https://www.dundeeunitedfc.co.uk/community/education/cld-united but in short this iproject is aimed at helping young people that are identified of being at risk of not being able to achieve a positive result when they leave school and are selected based on referrals from Police, Schools, Council Learning & Development and Social Work as part of a targeted approach to work with them, helping them amass hundreds of hours of voluntary work as part of this project with the most competent progressing into paid coaching opportunities each year.

The Dundee United Youth Development Board is a relatively new arrival on the scene (May 2017) but its aims are straightforward -to raise funds and channel them directly at Youth Development, perhaps the most high profile investment made by the DUYDB so far has been the sponsorship all academy football kits, you can read more here https://www.dundeeunitedfc.co.uk/news/5377/DUYDB-SPONSOR-ACADEMY-KITS.html but there have been many other investments including new 7-a-side goals, ice machines and defibrillators for the GA Arena as well as supporting teams representing the club in tournaments as far apart as Thailand and Oakham in England and most progressively funding a new Head of Sports Science & Medicine as part of the SFA's Project Brave initiative.
Youth Development is at the heart of what the club and ArabTRUST are all about and you can help in a big way by supporting this year's Christmas Raffle.
If you haven't made a game for a while, live a distance away, or simply can't get to Tannadice, this is a positive way you can directly support the local community in Dundee and Youth Development at Tannadice.
