Stephen Simpson was born and brought up in Dundee and started watching footbal in the early 1970's. Like many supporters at that time, the routine was Dens one week and Tannadice the next.
Lucky enough to be watching United during their golden era, he quickly became an ardent Dundee United fan.
Biog
Outside of work Stephen's interests are many and varied. As well as watching United, he is a Tartan Army member and goes to most Scotland matches. He also plays football and tennis regularly and is a keen hillwalker, climber cyclist and skier.
Stephen has been involved with the Dundee United Business Club for many years and continues to be an active member. Stephen was made Vice Chair in February 2009 and went on to become Chairman in August 2009.
More Information
Stephen has a background in sales and management and spent 17 years with Commercial Union Insurance Company. In 1998 he took over a local printing company and has been Managing Director ever since.
