ArabTRUST would like to get behind a Federation initiative.
Dave Bowman and the Youth Academy require assistance in a project to raise funds for heart monitors for the 120 players involved at all age groups with the United Academy.
All elite Academies in England issue their players with monitors as common practice. Dave and the Academy coaches feel that a similar practice would be of huge benefit to both the football side of things and more importantly, the good health of the players, what with the apparatus being able to pick up any abnormalities that may arise.
Dave is asking Arabs who may have any old clothes, bedding, shoes, belts and the like to bag them and hand them into the Dundee United Direct shop with all funds raised going toward the aforementioned heart monitors.
Our friends at the Federation are asking for their members assistance with this great cause and ArabTRUST is only too happy to help spread the word.
The shop will be taking collection of the bags until 19th January 2012.
Thanks in advance.
The Fed represent 27 Member Clubs totalling nearly 1,500 Arabs in dealings with United, the Scottish Federation of Supporters' Clubs, the Government, Police and other regulatory bodies.
Their aim is to encourage & promote an increase in the size of the United support and to encourage & assist in the creation & development of new United Supporter Clubs.
