Congratulations to Darren Dods who was presented with the ArabTRUST Player of the Month shield today by ArabTRUST members Vicky Ogilvie and Cameron Black at Tannadice.
Voting closed at 12pm today and the full result looked like this:-
Jon Daly 16.18%
Paul Dixon 13.87%
Andy Webster 19.08%
Darren Dods 26.01%
Nicky Weaver 24.86%
There's no doubt that 'Robocop' is a fan favourite after scoring the winning goal against Celtic. He has also been a solid Team Captain in the absence of Lee Wilkie and churned out consistent, solid defensive performances all season.
Nicky Weaver continues to do well in this vote every month with 24% for November. Should he continue to play at the standard he has shown all season, could he be getting a nice little nod from the fans before he leaves by way of the ArabTRUST Player of the Month Award for December?
Darren Dods now joins Danny Cadamarteri (August), Prince Buaben (September) and Garry Kenneth (October) as a recipient of the ArabTRUST Player of the Month Award in association with eastfootball.co.uk
