At our Board meeting on 20th September, Steven Hughes was appointed as Chairman following Derek Robertson's recent resignation from the post.
Avril Muir, Dale Carrie and Davie Lowe have been co-opted onto the Board, with Davie taking over from Steven as Secretary.
Steven said, "I'm honoured to lead ArabTRUST in a period where we're looking to build on our success to date and make a significant investment into Youth Development at United through the Gussie Park regeneration project.
"On behalf of the Board and our members, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Derek Robertson for his fantastic leadership during one of the most challenging periods in Scottish football history.
"We're delighted that Derek will remain an active member of ArabTRUST's Board - as he was during his previous spell as a Director of Dundee United, therefore allowing the whole United family to benefit from his undoubted skill and wisdom.
"Our aims remain focussed on supporting United's Youth and the community in the Dundee area. As such, the Board have agreed that we'll allocate all ArabTRUST membership fees for the next year to the Gussie Park regeneration project.
"We're also pleased to announce that we've agreed to sponsor strips for the Dundee Primary Schoolboys, which includes kids who are linked to United's Youth System.
"I'd encourage any fellow Arab who's not yet a Trust member to join. Details on how you can do this can be found HERE or by coming to either of our Tangerine Trading Posts in the Lower George Fox and Lower Eddie Thompson on matchdays."
